Assessment and Progression:
Assessment for this course will be based on a combination of written exams and practical assessments. Learners must achieve a minimum grade of 70% to pass the course. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a certificate of completion and may progress to advanced courses in general industry safety or related fields.
Course Introduction:
This course is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards for general industry. Through this course, learners will develop knowledge and skills in hazard identification, prevention and control, and compliance with OSHA regulations. The course includes topics such as hazard communication, confined spaces, machine guarding, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
